At Clipora, your privacy isn't just a policy — it's a core value. We built Clipora specifically because we were tired of sketchy tools that track everything you do. Here's exactly what we do and don't do with your data.
Email address (optional): Only if you choose to join our mailing list. We use this solely to send you updates about new Clipora features. You can unsubscribe at any time.
YouTube URLs you submit: These are processed in real-time for conversion and are NOT stored, logged, or associated with any identity. Once your conversion is complete and downloaded, the data is automatically deleted from our servers within 30 minutes.
Server logs: Our web server may temporarily log IP addresses for security and abuse prevention (e.g., DDoS protection). These logs are automatically purged within 48 hours and are never shared with third parties.
We do NOT use tracking cookies. We do NOT use analytics tools like Google Analytics. We do NOT collect device fingerprints. We do NOT build user profiles. We do NOT sell, rent, or share any data with third parties. We do NOT serve ads or use ad-tracking pixels.
Email addresses are used only to send occasional updates about Clipora. YouTube URLs are used only to perform the conversion you requested. Server logs are used only for security monitoring and abuse prevention.
All data transmitted to and from Clipora is encrypted using TLS/SSL (HTTPS). Converted files are stored temporarily on encrypted storage and automatically deleted within 30 minutes. Our servers are protected by firewalls, rate limiting, and regular security audits. We follow the principle of minimal data collection — we don't collect what we don't need.
If you make a donation through Ko-fi, PayPal, or Buy Me a Coffee, those transactions are handled by those platforms under their own privacy policies. Clipora does not receive or store your payment information.
You can request deletion of your email from our mailing list at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or contacting us at hello@clipora.org. Since we don't collect personal data beyond optional email signups, there is typically no other personal data for us to delete.
Clipora is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, for significant changes, notify subscribers via email.
